The radiologist will interpret general diagnostic radiology studies for adult and pediatric patients, including ER, stroke, trauma, and inpatient cases.
The role requires working swing shifts and collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
What you need
Candidates must be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology and board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
A valid Louisiana medical license or the ability to obtain one is required.

Access Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice is looking for a Remote General Radiologist to work Full Time/Part Time or 1099 Independent Contractor . This position will interpret general diagnostic radiology for adults and pediatric patients across our sites in Central Louisiana. Access Radiology has been an integral part of the Central Louisiana medical community for over 45 years. Alexandria is a city in the parish seat of Rapides Parish. It is the principle city of the Alexandria metropolitan area (population 153,922) which encompasses all of Rapides and Grant parishes. It lies on the south bank of the Red River in almost the exact geographic center of the state. Residents can easily drive to New Orleans or Baton Rouge while living in a picturesque, family-oriented community.
This opportunity will primarily read for Rapides Regional Medical Center, a 380 bed tertiary care hospital and one of Central Louisiana's leading healthcare providers. As a Level II Traum Center and designated Primary Stroke Center, the hospital offers a diverse and clinically engaging case mix, including emergency, trauma, neuro, oncology, cardiovascular and advanced imaging services.
