What you'll do
- Perform DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, flow cytometry, ELISAs, and cell or tissue culture
- Prepare buffers, media cultures, and primers, and process biological specimens
- Maintain detailed electronic or physical laboratory notebooks
- Order laboratory supplies and stock inventory
- Sterilize and decontaminate laboratory equipment
- Assist senior laboratory staff with data for publications and grant submissions
- Train incoming staff on responsibilities, procedures, and systems

Research Support
