Resident/Associate Attorney Spring '27

Modern Family Law (MFL), a rapidly expanding national law firm specializing in Family Law, is seeking 3Ls and recent graduates sitting for the February 2027 Bar exam or the July 2027 Bar exam to participate in MFL Academy’s Residency Program in one of our Colorado offices (Denver, Colorado Springs, or Fort Collins). This role is hybrid, but you must sit for the Colorado Bar (no UBE score transfer), and plan to reside within a reasonable commute to the office location. Residency Program Details: After sitting for the Bar exam, Residency participants will join MFL to receive training in substantive family law and courtroom advocacy. Residents will receive mentorship from the MFL Learning & Development department and legal teams, helping them successfully transition to an MFL Associate Attorney position upon passing the Bar. Starting salary for an Associate Attorney is $130,000 (base), with total possible earnings of $152,200 per year. This range is a reasonably reliable estimate of the salary that this individual is expected to receive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets. Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school. Register for the upcoming February or July 2027 Bar exam. Attain a passing score on the MPRE before sitting for the Bar exam. Timely submission and approval of Character & Fitness application by the State Bar. Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus. Mock Trial experience is a plus. Submission of cover letter, law school transcript, and responses to candidate questionnaire.
