What you'll do
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients
- Direct and supervise all patient care during the shift
- Carry out the nursing process when providing care
- Supervise and delegate patient care tasks to LPN, CNA and other patient care team members
- Promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments
- Take patients' age into consideration when performing tasks, as appropriate

At ContinueCARE Hospital, we take pride in the care we provide for patients with an average length of stay of 25 days in a variety of specialty programs. Our staff enjoy our small-hospital environment inside of a large acute care hospital. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of all patients ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric. He/she is also responsible for the overall direction and supervision of all patient care during his/her shift. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care to patients. Satisfies the established standards of the nursing practice. Supervises and delegates patient care tasks to LPN, CNA and other patient care team members. Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. As appropriate, takes into consideration the patients' age in the performance of any task. Experience working in an acute care environment required, critical care experience preferred.
