What you'll do
- Implement the nursing process and carry out physicians orders regarding diet, medication and treatment
- Perform assessments; monitor and ensure quality care through observation and evaluation
- Document nursing interventions on care plans and medical records, and report findings to physicians
- Instruct patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans and patient care
- Respond to emergencies and maintain availability of medications and supplies
- Ensure cleanliness of equipment and environment
- Demonstrate service excellence and act as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC
What you need
- Current Ohio RN license
- CPR prior to patient care experience
- Current NRP and Basic EKG required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current
- Fetal Monitoring and Stable course required within 1 year
- Excellent organizational, customer service skills, and computer proficiency
- At least 1 year of experience (preferred)
- Board certification within 2 years in area of expertise (preferred)
