What you'll do
- Participates in perioperative assessments and assists surgeons during operative procedures.
- Participates in postoperative rounds and treatments, evaluates patient progress, and provides education to patients and families.
What you need
- Requires an associate degree in nursing, completion of an AORN-accredited RNFA program, two years of perioperative registered nursing experience, an RN license, and BLS certification.
- A bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
- Education: an associate degree or a bachelor's degree
