What you'll do
- Ability to read, write, hear and communicate adequately to complete job duties and responsibilities
- The work is physical in nature; ability to stand, sit, bend, squat, crawl, climb, stoop, w and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Current driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work weekends, holidays and on-call hours
- Maintenance, gas, mechanical or electrical experience and/or suitable background
- Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to collect and interpret data and write clear and accurate reports
- Experience with Gas or refrigeration equipment
- Experience with LFG extraction and use systems and equipment
- Advanced electrical skills with the ability to fault find and carry out preventative maintenance on electrical equipment, such as PLC’s, generators, high voltage and/or control systems

The RNG Operator Technician has responsibility to successfully operate the RNG (Renewable Natural Gas) plant. They will be one of three operating technicians at the plant providing both technical and operational support to plant operations personnel as well as interacting with the host landfill, regulatory agencies and customers. The RNG Technician will be responsible for achieving operational metrics for the facility.
