GSM Services wants to be the best place to work in our region and it takes teamwork to come together, work together and succeed together.Roofshield Technician ResponsibilitiesPossess the physical capabilities required for commercial roofing, including but not limited to lifting (up to 80 lbs), stooping bending, material handling, ladder climbing, awareness of height exposure and the capacity to work in adverse weather conditionsFollow all directions given by the immediate leader (roofing foreman or lead-man) as it relates to job productionLearn and gain skill in working to meet the standards and application quality set by GSM Services for the installation or roofing materialsLearn and gain skill in the proper use and maintenance of roof equipmentWhat you Need to be Qualified for the Roofshield Technician PositionMinimum 1-year experiencePossess the ability to use basic mathFamiliar with roof materials and their basic applicationFamiliar with basic roofing toolsAbility to climb ladders and have a complete awareness of height exposures and safety concernsValid NC or SC Driver's License and clean driving recordAbility to pass a background check and drug testAbility to lift 75 poundsExcellent communication skills and a self-starterNeat AppearanceGood work ethicPositive attitudePossess the ability to read and write English to a HS levelBenefits & PerksAt GSM Services, we believe in taking great care of our team—on and off the job.
