SA 1B Asphalt QC Technician

Job Description\r\nThe position will primarily be responsible for hot mix quality control. The position includes roadway testing duties to ensure HMA being produced and placed meets or exceeds specification. Other duties include, but are not limited to; aggregate gradations, hot mix formulations, tracking test results, generating reports, and communicating results with the quality control team/Supervisor.\r\nEnsure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.\r\n\r\nProperly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment. Report any problems to your supervisor.\r\nUse accepted methods to inspect, sample and test asphalt or other materials for the purpose of quality control.\r\nSample and test mixtures for compliance with contract specifications and quality control tolerance.\r\nMonitor and test process functions and materials daily to ensure our products meet or exceed requirements of the appropriate agency or customer.\r\nPrepare and record accurate information.\r\nFollow quality control plans or guidelines as assigned.\r\nPerform general cleaning of work areas.\r\nLift, carry and hold materials, tools and supplies.\r\nPerform other duties as assigned.\r\n1B required.\r\n\r\nEqual Opportunity Employer
