Casual dress environment Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Security Specialist to become part of our award-winning team. The Security Specialist will patrol and secure the premises during off-hours and weekends as well as identify security and safety risks to our team. This is part-time position. Must be flexible to work a varying schedule including Saturdays 8am-8pm with extra hours available during holidays and cover shifts as needed. Responsibilities: Control access onto the property. Conduct periodic foot patrols throughout the property. Monitor premises to prevent property damage and theft. Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations. Completes shift activity logs. Between patrol duties, work on additional tasks as assigned. Basic Qualifications: One to three years of experience in security, law enforcement, first responder, military or related field preferred. Basic computer proficiency is required. Must have and maintain a Florida Driver’s License. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit at a computer for short periods. Ability to move through the company’s buildings to inspect and detect safety concerns. Able to effectively communicate safety protocols.
