We're looking for a Service Technician Apprentice who is ready to learn the trade and be a part of a team that takes pride in doing things the right way. You'll train alongside experienced techs who will teach you how to install tanks safely, troubleshoot equipment, and handle service calls with confidence. Local Routes : Our drivers are the face of our company, providing great service while working local routes—so you’ll be home every night. Responsibilities Under direct supervision, assist in installations, repairs, and maintains propane equipment for retail customers. Develops knowledge and trains on how to load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane to and from specified destinations. Assists in inspecting vehicles and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance. Under direct supervision, assists in preparing and maintaining records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Operates truck in accordance to established safety procedures. Under direct supervision, during daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service/safety information and answering inquires. Will be required to train with team members who are working on call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response as needed. Once qualified, may be required to drive a Bobtail truck base on business needs and/or “On Call” rotation Performs other duties as assigned. Under direct supervision, may work on propane appliances when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Willingness to obtain Commercial driver’s license (Class A or B) with hazmat and tanker endorsement if not currently obtained Good driving record Proficient in speaking, writing, and understanding the English language. Commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A or B license with hazmat and tanker endorsement preferred.
