Job Description/Overview of Position: Looking for a Sheet Metal Apprentice for our construction team as our company is growing rapidly. The candidate must have either a high school diploma or GED. Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task, organized and pay attention to details, provide excellent customer service and be a strong team member. Working hours Monday through Friday from 6.00 AM to 2.30 PM Must have a valid driver's license Technical evening classes are required if not graduated from technical school Uniform & safety equipment is provided by company Basic knowledge of hand & electrical tools Good mechanical skills Must be able to read tape measurements Must follow all safety procedures and follow company safety rules & guidelines along with OSHA requirements The ability to learn and operate the manual and automated machinery Basic blueprint reading skill are preferred but not required Learn basic maintenance/make repairs Learn to fabricate ductwork and make basic materials Learn to drive a forklift (Training provided) Help keep the shop/warehouse neat & clean Must be reliable, hardworking & punctual Enjoy taking on challenges Ability to work within a team Benefits Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance.
