SUMMARY: The Social Worker supports enrolled veterans by connecting them with substance abuse counseling, mental health services, support groups, and rehabilitation programs to aid in their recovery and well-being. Responsibilities include meeting with clients and their families to discuss progress or setbacks, developing treatment plans for those with mental illnesses or recovering from traumatic events, and maintaining regular communication to monitor their physical and mental health.
