Job Description: This position will be located in Troy, Ohio. We run the business on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. With the implementation behind us, the work ahead is to make the system fit the way the business actually works: simpler processes, fewer manual steps, legacy applications retired, and the features people are still waiting for. A small internal team owns all of it: the code, the integrations, the reports it produces, and the people who depend on them. Each of us owns an area, and we build, review and support the whole thing together. Work starts as a conversation with the people who do the job. The developer who picks it up sees it through: learn the real process, design the change with the team, build it, test it, deploy it, and support the people using it. We own outcomes, not tickets. Responsibilities: Own business requests end to end: discovery, design, build, test, deployment, support Work with users to learn the real process before changing it Simplify existing processes and remove the manual steps around them Develop and extend Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (X++, extensions, integrations) Write and support SSRS reports and the documents the system produces for daily operations Build and support EDI transactions with customers and trading partners Promote code through the standard LCS release process, with a deployment and rollback plan Upgrade and retire legacy code and applications, including VBScript utilities and classic ASP pages Write the test cases for your own work and get user sign-off before release Review the team's work and have your own reviewed Document what you build and share what you learn, so the next person does not start over Train and support end users directly, in business language Minimum Qualifications: Experience developing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Experience promoting code through LCS or a comparable release process SSRS report development and support Evidence of carrying work from request to production use, not just the build step Comfort working with non-technical users, and clear writing A collaborative way of working: shared standards, reviewed code, help asked for early Preferred: EDI experience with trading partners Support of legacy web or scripting applications (classic ASP, VBScript) Manufacturing or distribution background Experience on a small team that owned a system end to end Compensation Information: The starting salary will be determined based on the individuals' qualifications and experience. $95,000 - $125,000 ITW is an equal opportunity employer. We value our colleagues’ unique perspectives, experiences and ideas and create workplaces where everyone can develop their careers and perform to their full potential.
