What You Will Do Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June-December (including the fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity). You will design and develop software from functional and interface requirements. You will debug flight critical software and perform associated system integration activities in a laboratory or a simulation environment. You will create and or maintain software component unit tests. You will develop requirement-based test procedures. You will verify software performance through structural coverage analysis. You will execute test procedures in support of formal software verification efforts. What You Will Learn You will gain knowledge of Head-Up Displays and Camera systems. You will gain knowledge of software development in aerospace industry. You will learn the latest industry software development tools, practices, and processes. Qualifications You Must Have Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session. Experience in programming languages such as C, C#, Python, Perl. Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects. Qualifications We Prefer Have a GPA of 3.4 or higher. Strong software and hardware debugging skills are preferred. Coursework in embedded system development. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
