School-Based Special Education Paraprofessional. Building Connections Academy - Martinez, CA. Make an impact every day! Join a supportive, mission-driven team at Building Connections Academy (a special education nonpublic school with locations in Concord and Martinez, CA), where we help students grow, learn, and build independence. About the Role: Hours: In-person, Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 3:00PM. Minimum Availability: Monday to Friday from 10:00AM to 2:00PM. Pay: $22–$28/HR (based on experience, certification, and education). Certification: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required or willingness to become certified within 90 days (paid training included!). As a School-Based Special Education Paraprofessional, you’ll provide 1:1 behavioral and academic support to students with autism and other developmental differences. You’ll help students develop communication, social, and life skills while fostering a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment.
