Description
The Specialty Loan Servicing Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day servicing of commercial and specialty loan relationships. This role works closely with borrowers and internal banking teams to ensure loan transactions are processed accurately, customer requests are handled promptly, and servicing requirements are completed in accordance with Bank policies and procedures. The position supports a variety of specialized lending products and plays a key role in delivering a high-quality customer experience while maintaining operational accuracy and compliance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT CELTIC BANK
Process loan payments, advances, disbursements, paydowns, and other servicing transactions.
Maintain accurate loan records, documentation, and system data.
Review funding requests and verify required documentation and conditions prior to funding.
Monitor borrower reporting requirements and follow up on required financial information and documentation.
Research and resolve servicing discrepancies, transaction issues, and customer inquiries.
Support cash management and account-related servicing activities.
Partner with lending, portfolio management, credit, and operations teams to support customer relationships.
Ensure servicing activities comply with established policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and the overall customer experience.

Commercial lending experience is a plus but not required..
