Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Location: Natick, MA Company: Busek Co. Inc. About Busek Busek Co. Essential Functions Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation, and enter voucher information into the Deltek Accounts Payable (AP) module for payment. Review expenditures for accuracy and compliance with company expenditure policies. Assist the Senior Staff Accountant with weekly cash disbursements. Process employee expense report reimbursements in Deltek and ensure timely payment. Audit employee expense reports for compliance with company travel and expense (T&E) policies. Generate accounts receivable (AR) invoices and apply customer cash receipts. Research and respond to accounting inquiries and resolve discrepancies. Assist with year-end external audits by preparing supporting documentation and responding to auditor requests. Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances. Participate in the annual year-end physical inventory count. Assist with other general accounting activities and special projects as needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Good working knowledge of computerized accounting systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Epicor, SAP, NetSuite, or similar accounting or ERP systems is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments. Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate financial records. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, problem-solving, and follow-through skills. Minimum Education and Work Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 0–3 years of experience in general accounting. Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency.
