POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision and direction of the Controller, the Staff Accountant is responsible for various accounting functions and for performing miscellaneous accounting duties , applies principles of accounting, record keeping, and analysis to maintain Hospital general accounting systems and financial reporting, and assisting the Controller with various projects as needed. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Bachelor's degree in Finance , Accounting, Business or other related field is required . Experience in mainframe computer systems and PC based systems. Two years in Accounting with Hospital/Healthcare experience preferred. Proficient in Excel spreadsheets, Word documents.
