What you need
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate and 5+ years of professional experience with SMT and/or PCBA rework equipment and processes.
- IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and/or IPC-7711/7721 (rework/repair) certification.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience owning SMT rework equipment operation and process control in a high-volume production setting.
- Proven experience implementing Design for Manufacturability (DFM) specifically for complex SMT assemblies.
- Ability to create and deliver technical presentations for rework process readiness, design reviews, and manufacturing readiness reviews.
- Experience leading the transition of SMT rework processes from design/NPI to volume manufacturing as part of cross-functional teams in fast-paced iterative environments.
