Tax Internship – Spring 2027

Description As a Tax Intern at Trout CPA, you'll work alongside experienced accountants, contribute to client engagements, and develop the technical and professional skills needed for a successful career in public accounting. What You'll Experience Prepare individual tax returns Gain exposure to the tax process from start to finish Develop technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Learn from experienced staff, managers, and partners Work alongside a collaborative team invested in your success Build your professional network and lasting relationships Discover where a career in tax could take you Requirements Be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting Have completed at least three years of accounting coursework by the start of the internship Intend to pursue CPA licensure Be available to work at least 25 hours per week from late January through early April 2027 Maintain a GPA of 3.4 or higher in accounting specific coursework Demonstrate involvement through internships, work experience, student organizations, or leadership activities Possess strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Thrive in a collaborative team environment and demonstrate initiative and adaptability
