The consultant will lead strategic communications across two connected areas: supporting campaigns challenging unsustainable data centre construction and building support for stronger sovereignty requirements in cloud procurement.A successful outcome would see a stronger European debate around sustainable and sovereign digital infrastructure, with campaign narratives focused on constructive policy solutions rather than polarising culture-war arguments. It would also build greater political and public support for reducing dependency on dominant hyperscalers and strengthening sovereignty requirements in cloud procurement. How you'll contributeEngage with and support organisations campaigning for democratic pacing and more stringent safeguards on data centre construction, helping to shape communications and campaign narratives towards constructive policy outcomes.
