About the Technology Intern: Marketstar Technology team currently has an opportunity available for a part-time Technology Intern position, 20 to 25 hours per week. The Technology Intern needs to work well in a team setting and motivated to get task done quickly and effectively with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be task oriented, organized, and have strong communication skills. They will work with the managers of the Technology team to accomplish tasks in billing, communication to various business leaders, organizing and collecting data, and working with other support teams to coordinate efforts. Location: Ogden, UT What Will You Do? Assist in inventory management, tracking purchases, current inventory, and deployed equipment Work with current, former, and incoming employees to deliver or retrieve equipment Provide reporting to the business on activities, billings, and inventory associated with the Technology department All other duties as assigned by Technology management or the Support manager What Will You Need to Succeed? Ability to work in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace productivity suites Ability to organize and sort through large amounts of data using Excel or Google Sheets Self-motivated with the ability to follow through on projects in a timely manner Professional demeanor; good customer service skills in person and on the phone Excellent verbal, writing, and technical writing skill Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills Must be able to sit in front of and operate a computer for prolonged periods of time MarketStar is firmly committed to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and to compliance with all federal, state, and local laws that prohibit employment discrimination.
