Members contribute their professional skills and leverage their networks in service of the organization’s gender-equity agenda.Membership is a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership. K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit. The intern will be responsible for projects relevant to the JerseySTEM mission to deliver after school enrichment classes to underserved kids. Responsibilities Collaborate with team members on department-specific projects Attend scheduled work sessions and maintain regular communication with your assigned manager Submit brief written updates on your work daily Participate in JerseySTEM's communication systems (G-Suite, Jira/Confluence) Maintain a professional demeanor in all internal and external interactions Notify department head or HR if you encounter any issues connecting with your manager Time Commitment 20 hours/week minimum, for at least 1 month (renewable monthly) Shifts are flexible and fall within the following time blocks (Eastern Time): Morning: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM Evening: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM Adjustments can be made to accommodate job interviews or special circumstances.
