About ViewTrade ViewTrade Technology builds capital markets infrastructure for financial institutions around the world. We provide clearing, execution, and the technology behind them to brokers, primarily across Asia-Pacific and EMEA. Our finance team is small, works closely with leadership, and covers multiple operating entities. About the Role We’re hiring a Technical Financial Analyst to work directly with our Head of FP&A and Global CFO. This role runs the full range: you’ll pull the data yourself, build the analysis, and take it all the way to the strategy conversation about what the numbers mean and what the options are. “Technical” means you work from the source. You’ll query our Snowflake data warehouse directly rather than waiting on someone else to send you an export. This is a corporate finance role, not an accounting or controller role. What You’ll Do Your first 90 days Learn the business, including how a broker’s trading activity turns into revenue for us, working closely with the Head of FP&A. Take ownership of the models currently running, and improve them as you learn them. Get comfortable in our Snowflake warehouse and the data behind each revenue line. Build working relationships with business unit owners and the technology teams that supply our data. Ongoing Break down revenue by client, region, and type across our main income lines, including transaction fees, payment for order flow, and interest income, working toward daily visibility. Write and maintain the SQL behind your models, querying Snowflake directly. Build and maintain forecasts and the analysis leadership uses to make decisions. Support cost analysis and ad hoc requests from senior leadership. Automate recurring work and build in checks so the numbers hold up. Document your models and processes so others can follow and pick them up. What We’re Looking For Must Have 1–3 years of experience as a financial analyst or data analyst. Working SQL: comfortable writing queries with joins and aggregations against a data warehouse. Strong Excel modeling skills. A working understanding of how capital markets operate at a high level, including what brokers, exchanges, and clearing firms do. Regular hands-on use of AI tools (such as Claude) for real work deliverables, and a clear sense of what context and checks they need to produce accurate results. Based in the U.S. and authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship. Nice to Have Experience with Snowflake specifically. Experience with Claude Cowork or Claude Code, including creating Skills, Artifacts, Shared Projects, and context files. Experience at a brokerage, clearing firm, or brokerage technology provider. How You Work You’re curious about how the business works, not just what the numbers say. You think in automation, and you test your work for accuracy. You pick up new systems and context quickly. You build things others can follow, and you explain them clearly and concisely. You’re comfortable with ambiguity: you make a reasonable call, and you document why. If you meet most of these, we’d like to hear from you. What We Offer Fully remote, with no office attendance required. Because our clients and colleagues span Asia-Pacific, EMEA, and the U.S., you’ll work outside the typical 9–5 Eastern a few times a week. Health, dental, and vision insurance fully paid for you and your spouse. 401(k) with a 3% company match. 25 days off a year: 15 days PTO, plus 5 sick days and 5 personal days. Performance-based annual bonus. How to Apply Send your resume and a few sentences on a forecast, model, or analysis you owned: what question it answered and how you made sure it was right. No cover letter required. Equal Opportunity ViewTrade is an equal opportunity employer. We make hiring decisions based on qualifications, merit, and business need. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, veteran or military status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. Any offer of employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check. We will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in a manner consistent with applicable law, including the California Fair Chance Act and other state and local fair chance hiring laws.
