What you'll do

Assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures
Assist the technologist in performing examinations

What you need

Current CPR Certification
Working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
Knowledge of computer applications
Knowledge of filing systems
Ability to follow instructions and work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Analytical and grammatical skills to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
Previous medical experience (preferred)

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general direction of their Supervisor and Manager, performs responsibilities in a professional manner not requiring constant supervision. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and assists the technologist in performing examinations. EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE: Desired : Previous medical experience LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Minimum : Current CPR Certification. SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES: Working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Knowledge of computer applications required. Knowledge of filing systems. Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
