Summary/ObjectiveResponsible for performing a variety of routine customer transactions. Represents the Bank in a courteous manner, providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing transactions. Essential functionsPerform routine customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; cash checks within approval limit Accept foreign checks for collection Buy and sell foreign currency for customers Issue money orders and treasurer’s checks Maintain and control an assigned cash box; balance cash and work at day’s end Process mail transactions Order and verify exchanges of cash with main cash vault Redeem Savings Bonds Identify BSA transactions Identify Funds Availability transactions Be knowledgeable with the Bank’s products and services Properly quote interest rates Verify and process daily night bag deposits Assist with ATM settlement when requested Attain referral goals as assigned Adhere to the Customer Service Standards Cover switchboard as necessary May have check signing authority Perform additional duties as required CompetenciesStrong customer service skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of customers; ability to pay attention to detail. Required education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or Equivalent Cash handling and customer service experience preferred (length and type)
