This position performs complex professional work serving as a project manager in support of technical programs and
projects in the Town of Apex. An employee in this position works as a
professional / certified engineer with considerable professional experience. Specific duties and responsibilities will include tasks
such as research and design of projects, oversight of construction,
representation of the Town with other local, state, and/or federal agencies,
and independent application of technical engineering knowledge. The employee
exercises considerable judgment and independence of action including contacts
with citizens, contractors, engineers, and developers. Technical guidance is
provided to technical and administrative personnel.
This position reports to the Transportation Engineering Manager.
