What you'll do

Install, troubleshoot, and repair truck bodies, cargo handling equipment, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
Perform inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity
Fabricate and weld components as needed
Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Communicate with team members and customers to understand requirements and provide progress updates
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used

What you need

Proven experience as a Truck Equipment Technician or similar role
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Strong welding and fabrication skills
Knowledge of truck body installations and modifications
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
Certification or training in diesel mechanics or related field (preferred)
Education: a professional certificate

Requirements Fouts Bros Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Truck Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various truck equipment and components. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.
