What you'll do

Truckload Dispatcher - Night/Weekends CDN Logistics, Inc. | Northlake, IL | Full-Time | On-Site Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Keep freight moving overnight. Support over-the-road drivers, track shipments, and resolve service issues as part of our after-hours operations team. Why join CDN Logistics? Track active loads, monitor pickup and delivery times, and communicate delays to customers and internal teams. Assist drivers with load questions, routing, fuel cards, weather, and road closures. Coordinate roadside assistance, repairs, and load recovery or repowers when needed. Prioritize urgent issues, escalate accidents and safety concerns, and follow DOT and Hours of Service requirements. Keep shipment updates and driver communications accurate, and provide a clear handoff to the daytime team. What you bring: Two or more years of transportation, dispatch, logistics, driver support, or related customer service experience preferred; truckload or OTR experience strongly preferred. High school diploma or GED and familiarity with DOT regulations and Hours of Service. Clear communication, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently under pressure. Comfort using transportation management systems, tracking platforms, email, and multiline phones. Dependable attendance for overnight and weekend shifts, with flexibility for occasional additional coverage and holidays.
