What You’ll Do: As an Underwriting Intern, you'll get hands-on experience and valuable exposure to a variety of Political Risk insurance products. You’ll be guided by industry experts, helping evaluate risk, craft policies, and make strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities : Risk Assessment and Analysis: Assist in evaluating financial statements, credit reports, and industry trends to assess the risk profiles of potential clients. Underwriting Assistance: Support underwriting for new and renewal business in Political Risk insurance, helping determine coverage terms and conditions. Data-Driven Decisions: Dive into reports, analyze industry data, and learn how political and financial insights influence underwriting strategies. Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with teams in claims, legal, and finance to develop a well-rounded understanding of underwriting challenges and solutions. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and gain the knowledge needed to build a successful career in underwriting. Why Join Us? Who We’re Looking For: Pursuing a degree and/or strong interest in Risk Management, Political Risk, International Relations, Business, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for understanding financial data. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Eagerness to learn and tackle challenges head-on. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
