Utility Electrical Engineer

DEADLINE TO APPLY IS THURSDAY, AUGUST 15, 2024.\r\nPlease include a COVER LETTER and RESUME with your completed application.\r\n \r\nWatertown Municipal Utilities has a full-time opening for a Gas Superintendent.\r\nThis is a highly responsible technical, administrative and supervisory position that oversees the daily operations of managing the construction, maintenance and repairs to the city natural gas system. \r\nThe Gas Superintendent coordinates and serves as a liaison with consulting engineers, contractors, developers and other utility systems and governmental agencies in the planning, construction and maintenance of new and existing mains and lines. The Gas Superintendent is also responsible for writing the Operation and Maintenance Manuals to comply with state and federal codes, writing and maintaining the Operator Qualifications Plan to meet pipeline standards and training employees to meet those requirements and helping with the administration of the drug plan. \r\nConsiderable experience in gas distribution maintenance work at an advanced level required. Engineering degree, preferably electrical engineer, preferred.\r\nSalary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
