This role combines user experience research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and front-end collaboration to create scalable, user-centered applications. Working closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Quality, and business stakeholders, the UX/UI Engineer will translate complex workflows and user needs into clear user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and implementation-ready interface specifications. The role will help ensure digital products are usable, responsive, accessible, and aligned with the established corporate design system and enterprise design standards. What You'll Do Information Architecture and Interaction Design Develop information architectures, navigation models, content hierarchies, user flows, and interaction patterns for complex digital products. Create sketches, wireframes, clickable prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate concepts and intended behavior. Design efficient workflows for data-intensive, transaction-oriented, and role-based enterprise applications. Validate concepts through iterative testing and incorporate feedback into design decisions. Document edge cases, empty states, validations, error handling, and responsive behavior. User Interface and Visual Design Design modern, responsive interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile experiences. Apply visual hierarchy, typography, color, spacing, iconography, and interaction feedback consistently across products. Create polished mockups and prototypes using Figma and related design tools. Develop illustrations, visual assets, and supporting content when needed to improve comprehension and usability. Partner with stakeholders to align product experiences with organizational standards. Engineering Collaboration and Delivery Provide detailed design specifications, interaction notes, assets, and handoff materials for development teams. Collaborate with Software Engineers on technical feasibility, responsive behavior, approved component usage, React implementation, and other front-end decisions. Use working knowledge of React and component-based front-end development to support implementation and communicate effectively with software engineers. Review implemented features to verify alignment with approved designs and expected user behavior. Participate in Agile activities, including discovery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, design reviews, demos, and retrospectives. Product and Stakeholder Engagement Facilitate design workshops, discovery sessions, ideation activities, and solution reviews with cross-functional stakeholders. Present research findings, design rationale, prototypes, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate with Product Management to define experience requirements, acceptance criteria, and design priorities. Build productive relationships with users and stakeholders to support adoption and continuous improvement. Maintain design documentation and decision history to support traceability and future enhancements. What You Will Bring Bachelor's degree in Computer science, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in UX design, UI design, product design, digital design, front-end design, or a related discipline, including relevant project or freelance experience. Knowledge of established design systems, reusable component patterns, responsive design, and accessibility principles, with the ability to apply corporate design standards consistently. Hands-on experience with React and component-based front-end development, with the ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers. Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions and incorporate feedback. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt designs as user needs, business direction, and technical constraints evolve. Preferred Qualifications Experience designing complex enterprise, SaaS, workflow-driven, or customer-facing applications. Experience using product analytics or usability metrics to evaluate and improve digital experiences.
