Validation Engineer Intern Job Description: Our product lines include high speed (GHz) ICs for optical media access and signal transport. These products are tested by bench-top lab equipment in block, chip and system level before moving to production. Specific Responsibilities: Provide help to senior validation Eng. In configuration/set-up of test equipment and hardware • Provide Support in programming and creating automation scripts for test automation • Monitor and understand product features by reading data sheet and design documentation • Create draft validation report and data logs • Coordinate final data review with senior validation Eng. During the 12 weeks each Intern will: • Be given an individual and well-defined project with set outcome goals • Gain hands on experience • Receive excellent training and ongoing supervision • Be invited to attend an intern webinar series • Attend networking/social events • Attend and present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls • Receive formal, written feedback Job Qualifications: • A candidate in senior year of BSEE or working toward MSEE degree • lab skills and experience using lab equipment is a plus • Experience in C# programming is a must The Hourly Range for this position is $20 – $47 per hour. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
