What you'll do
- Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery; handle animals and communicate with clients.
- Perform lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement, maintain medical records, dispense medications, and keep the hospital clean and ready.
What you need
- Requires Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification, the ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, knowledge of common disease states, and familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.

Veterinary Technician
Salary: $24.00-$26.00 per hour dependent on skills and experience
Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:45AM-5:15PM, one day off during the week
Broad River is hiring a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to provide skilled care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients. Our ideal candidate has experience in animal care, client communication, and veterinary procedures, with a passion for improving the lives of pets and their owners.

Key Responsibilities:
Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates
Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification.
Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.
