What you'll do
- Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery; handle animals; communicate with clients; perform lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
- Maintain medical records, assist with medication dispensing, and keep treatment areas and equipment ready.
What you need
- Requires Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification, the ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, knowledge of common disease states, and familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.
