Who We're Looking For: We are looking to hire an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves animals and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member. Requirements: Licensed Veterinary Technician ( preferred ) 1+ years of veterinary experience Knowledge of industry tools and equipment Passion for working with animals and their owners Experience with proper animal handling and restraint Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills Obtaining accurate and thorough medical histories TPR Assisting doctor and other technical staff with restraint Blood draws (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular) Placing IV catheters Digital radiology including positioning.
