Pioneer Metal Finishing in Chippewa Falls is looking for a Wastewater Treatment Technician to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring our wastewater treatment processes operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. The Wastewater Treatment Technician will work Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is determined by experience with a starting range of $22.00 to $26.00. Overview What You'll Do: - Monitor wastewater discharge processes and ensure compliance with regulatory and company specifications. - Record and track pH levels, flow rates, pump settings, and other key operating parameters. - Maintain chemical treatment systems by filling tanks and replenishing treatment chemicals as needed. - Evaluate wastewater conditions and adjust chemical treatment processes to maintain required water quality standards. - Operate and empty filter press equipment according to established schedules. - Assist with spill response and cleanup activities when necessary. - Maintain clean, organized, and safe operating areas, including chemical storage and equipment areas. - Partner with production personnel to coordinate tank dump schedules and wastewater treatment activities. - Perform routine cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment. - Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance environmental performance, operational efficiency, and workplace safety.
