The intern will support local design staff by collecting data, preparing calculations, and assisting with hydraulic modeling and technical documentation. They will also participate in multi-disciplinary teams for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including occasional field investigations.

As an intern, you’ll work alongside our experienced practitioners and with our
clients and communities. This hands-on experience will equip you with practical
skills, build your network, and provide opportunities that set you up for
success.
Your Opportunity
We are seeking an intern to reside in our Chandler, AZ office. This role will
support our local design staff collecting and organizing data, preparing
calculations, preparing charts and graphs, modeling using Excel or hydraulic
modeling software, preparing drawings, backcheck drawing/technical memoranda
corrections, writing portions of technical memoranda, researching technical
information, proposal and resume writing, client interactions, presentations,
note taking, field investigations, coordinating production of reports, and/or
support of design documents (plans and specifications).

The Intern must have good attention to detail. They need to possess a
willingness to assist full-time staff with various tasks. The core competencies
for this position include:

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are
provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final
agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications,
experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus
eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the
agreed number of working hours per week.
