The Fiduciary Consulting Group at Morgan Stanley (“FCG”) is the Institutional RIA business, which consults on over $200 billion of institutional assets. The Institutional RIA business was launched in 2021 through the acquisitions of Hyas Group and Cook Street Consulting and subsequently the Southern Employee Benefits practice of Milliman. Its goal is to continue strategic acquisitions in this space and help support organic growth. The business is a high priority strategic initiative within Morgan Stanley to increase market share within the institutional consulting market while also contributing to the Firm’s asset growth and participant engagement goals. We are looking for an ambitious individual who is interested in a long-term career in the investment consulting industry. Qualifications: We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds. A candidate must be able to quickly process new information and work autonomously under tight deadlines. Professional and Personable – The vast majority of our new business comes through referrals. Our reputation is one of the greatest assets we possess. A successful candidate must be comfortable interacting and presenting in different environments, such as with clients and investment managers. Ambitious – We are a growing independent boutique with around 35 full-time employees. We are looking for someone with a long-term interest in Cook Street and in growth opportunities in one or more of our business divisions (research, consulting, operations, reporting), as well as across the broader Morgan Stanley organization. Experience and Skill Set: Undergraduate degree required. Applicants with a strong interest in pursuing a career in the financial services industry, regardless of educational background, are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidate for this position will have 0-5 years of previous experience in a similar role within the investment or consulting industry. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) Experience with investment and financial analysis platforms such as Bloomberg, eVestment, and Morningstar Direct is preferred Desire to progress towards the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation (if it has not already been attained). Salary range for the position: $57,000 and $110,000 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
