Our Mission The mission of Community Action Lehigh Valley is to improve the quality of life in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas by building communities in which all people have access to economic opportunity, the ability to pursue that opportunity, and a voice in the decisions that affect their lives. What You’ll Do As our Weatherization Program Administrator, you’re the friendly, detail-loving organizer who helps weatherization and energy-assistance services run on time and by the book. You’ll guide homeowners from intake to enrollment, keep audits/inspections scheduled, coordinate updates with contractors, utilities, partners, and staff, and make sure records and reports are accurate, complete, and compliant. You’ll also pitch in with invoice processing and reconciliations when needed. Your Day in Motion You start at the Forte Building in Bethlehem, PA, line up your schedule, and tackle a mix of calls, walk-ins, and follow-ups-keeping things friendly, clear, and on track. Between appointments, you update the state weatherization database, double-check files for those "tiny detail, big impact" moments, and keep the priority list current. Midday might bring a quick coordination huddle with your manager, a contractor question, or a utility hiccup that needs a steady hand. Later, you prep outreach mailings, keep records tidy for reporting, and-once in a while-head to a local community event or handle an occasional evening/Saturday need. You wrap up knowing the next household is one step closer to a safer, more efficient home. What You'll Bring to the Team We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys helping people, keeping programs running smoothly, and making a difference in the community. If you're a strong communicator, comfortable working with data and documentation, and eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you! Qualifications and Skills: Spanish/English bilingual skills are preferred and valued. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in program administration, client intake, eligibility determination, recordkeeping, or a similar service-oriented environment. Strong data management skills, including entering, maintaining, and reviewing information in electronic databases and ensuring program files are accurate and up to date. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer-service skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to review financial and program documentation accurately while maintaining confidentiality. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, while building positive working relationships with customers, staff, contractors, utility providers, servicers, and community partners. Willingness to learn about residential energy use, weatherization services, housing counseling requirements, and applicable program guidelines. Experience with Home Counselor Online or a similar system is a plus. Ready to put your organizational skills to work for a meaningful cause?
