Clemens Food Group | Onsite | Monday–Friday
Schedule: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with flexibility around the start time
Why Join Clemens Food Group?
Are you a skilled TIG welder who enjoys more than running the same weld over and over?
Do you take pride in building something from a blueprint, solving fabrication challenges, and seeing your craftsmanship make a real difference?
At Clemens Food Group, we're looking for a TIG Welder / Fabricator who brings precision, creativity, and a hands-on approach to supporting our manufacturing operations.
This isn't just about making quality welds. It's about using your technical abilities to fabricate components, repair equipment, and help keep our facility operating safely and efficiently.
If you enjoy variety, independent work, and the satisfaction of solving real-world mechanical challenges, this could be an opportunity worth exploring.
The Impact You'll Make
Your craftsmanship will directly support the equipment and operations that keep our manufacturing facility running.
Whether you're fabricating a new component, modifying an existing assembly, or repairing equipment, your work will help maintain reliability, quality, and productivity.
You'll have the opportunity to:
Keep equipment operating: Fabricate and repair components that support plant operations.
Turn drawings into finished products: Transform blueprints and specifications into precision metal assemblies.
Solve hands-on challenges: Apply your welding and fabrication knowledge to equipment repairs and modifications.
Deliver quality craftsmanship: Produce accurate, reliable work that meets safety and quality expectations.
Make a visible contribution: See your fabrication work put to use throughout the facility.
What You'll Do
Every project brings an opportunity to put your skills to work.
In this role, you'll:
Perform TIG and stick welding on metal components and equipment.
Fabricate, modify, repair, and install precision metal parts and assemblies.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications.
Perform layout work, including measurements and bend allowance calculations.
Operate fabrication equipment, including brakes, shears, cutting tools, and forming equipment.
Support equipment repairs to help maintain manufacturing operations.
Install fabricated components and assemblies throughout the facility.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Follow plant safety procedures and USDA food safety requirements.
Contribute to departmental quality and productivity goals.
What Makes This Role Exciting?
It's more than repetitive welding.
You'll apply your skills to a combination of fabrication, equipment repairs, modifications, and installation projects.
Your craftsmanship matters.
Precision and attention to detail are essential. The components you build and repair need to perform reliably in a working manufacturing environment.
You'll have independence in your work.
We're looking for someone comfortable taking ownership of assigned fabrication projects while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.
You'll tackle practical challenges.
From interpreting a drawing to determining how a component should be fabricated or repaired, you'll use both your technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
A consistent weekday schedule.
This is an onsite, second-shift position working Monday through Friday, generally 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with flexibility around the start time.

We're interested in candidates who combine strong welding fundamentals with a practical, detail-oriented approach to fabrication.

Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
Experience That Would Be a Plus

Experience repairing manufacturing machinery or equipment.
Additional sheet metal fabrication experience.

Skills & Mindset
Technical skills matter, but how you approach your work matters just as much.
You'll be successful in this role if you:
Take pride in precision: You care about producing quality work and getting the details right.
Think through challenges: You approach fabrication and repair problems logically and practically.
Take ownership: You're comfortable working independently and following through on assigned projects.
Stay adaptable: You can move between fabrication, repairs, and installation work as operational needs change.
Put safety first: You understand that quality work starts with safe practices.
Work well with others: You communicate clearly and contribute to shared plant goals.
