The Welder is responsible for assembly securing and welding metal parts, as well as reading and interpreting blueprints of a complex nature, fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications with little supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
•Reads and comprehends blueprints.
•Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding from blueprints.
•Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
•Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds part to secure in position for welding.
•Sets up equipment and welds parts, GMAW MIG.
