What you'll do

The Welding Instructor is responsible for delivering career technical training according to approved curricula and providing guidance to help students achieve their goals.
They must also maintain a safe training environment, document student progress, and participate in assessment panels.

What you need

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a professional certification from NCCER, AWS, or ASME.
A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is also required.

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for the career technical training instruction per approved curricula. They will provide training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their technical training goals. Essential functions: * Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction. * Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits. * Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials. * Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports. * Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment. * Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems. Education and Experience Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Certified by NCCER or AWS or standard established by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Boiler and Pressure Vessel code. * A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
