Position Overview: We are looking for a person to be a part of our Dispatch team. This person needs to be flexible in working hours, team player, good communicator, outspoken, self-motivated. General Working Days: Friday - Tuesday and Weekends on-call hours as needed. General Working Hours: 40 hrs. / week. Responsibilities: Take customer orders over the phone Order Entry in proprietary software Schedule delivery with the trucking company Resolve loading issues with trucking companies Communicate with customers and/or sales people via email, phone, or text on order confirmation or issues Data entry for the daily price emails or other general data entry Set up new customers in the pricing system Change mark ups or set ups as required by management for existing customers in pricing software Work with invoicing team so we bill customers accurately or pass information on pricing day deals to accounting team Skills Strong communication and customer service skills across phone, email, and text Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and organizational abilities Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle delivery and scheduling issues Proficient in Microsoft Office and dispatch/logistics software (preferred) Flexible, self-motivated team player with willingness to work on-call weekends What’s In It for You: Competitive hourly pay Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits Paid vacation, sick time, and company holidays Employee and fuel discounts Opportunities to learn wholesale operations and grow within the organization Employee Incentives: Employees that are with us for 6 months to 3 years = 0.10 cents off a gallon of fuel Employees that are with us for 3 years to 5 years = 0.30 cents off a gallon of fuel Employees that have been with us for 5+ years = 0.40 cents off a gallon of fuel MAXIMUM 20 GALLONS AND 2 FILL UPS PER WEEK Disclaimer: The list of requirements, duties, and responsibilities listed above is by no means a complete list.
