Description Woodyard Loader Operator Job Type: Full Time Shift Schedule: M - F, 8 am - 4 pm, overtime as needed Salary: $20/hour ** Pre-employment background check and drug screen required. Woodyard Loader Operator Job Duties: Raw Material Material Mixing and Intake Process Mix material per specification to ensure production is set up for upcoming days to ensure proper blend and moisture content. Receiving incoming loads of raw materials and separate by species Inspect quality of raw material to standard and notify plant leadership of any defects Load infeed bin per production schedule requirements Conduct loader inspections and perform loader maintenance Communicate with co-workers regarding status of work flow Other accountabilities as required Woodyard Loader Operator Requirements High School diploma or GED required One to two years loader operation experience in an industrial setting highly preferred Ability to immediately understand and react to verbal safety commands, audio alarms, and written hazard alerts in English in a Manufacturing setting. Proficient in English to accurately read, interpret, and execute equipment lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) protocols and machine operation manuals. Sufficient English verbal skills to clearly and instantly report machine malfunctions, near-misses, or unsafe floor conditions to supervisors and team members. This role operates in the immediate vicinity of fast-moving, heavy automated equipment. Clear, real-time communication and strict adherence to English-language safety signage are mandatory for workplace safety.
