Northrop Grumman is seeking Engineering Interns to join the Space Systems Intern Program. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Manufacturing and Operations Org. As an intern, you’ll participate in a summer internship program to develop competencies in a variety of M&O engineering specializations that may include: Roles and Responsibilities • Work in an industrial environment and support solving complex engineering problems. Will effectively interact with design engineering team and provide support across Factory Value Streams, Materials and Process experts, Process engineering, and Tool Design • Responsible/certifies all Propulsion Systems certified tooling requirements. Routinely coordinates technical issues with various programs and customers. • Develop preliminary dynamic environments (random vibration, sine, and shock) • Support on site component shock and vibration testing. This position will be located at our Space sector in one of the following locations: Promontory, UT Clearfield, UT Magna, UT Salt Lake City, UT Basic Qualifications A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027 Be majoring in a STEM degree Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027. Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) Preferred Qualifications: Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher Intern Pay Range: Bachelor’s: $18.50 to $33.50 per hour Master’s: $26.25 to $41.50 per hour At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative. Primary Level Salary Range: $1.00 - $1.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
