2027 Spring Intern - PTQ Project Management Office Department Summary Global Quality and Compliance (PTQ) ensures we deliver high-quality products to patients, ensures our right to operate, and helps us create value through process excellence and continual improvement efforts. Quality is a competitive advantage for Roche. You will report to a Senior Program/Project Manager in the PTQ Portfolio and Project Management Office. Your role will be to help the PTQ PMO drive the implementation of projects that strengthen Roche’s Quality and Compliance capabilities. You will collaborate across global, matrixed teams to support complex initiatives that embed regulatory compliance, GMP standards, and digital enablement across PT in alignment with the PT Strategy and Performance Promises. The ideal candidate is a self-starter deeply curious and energized by learning. You should be comfortable with working through ambiguity and are able to prioritize and manage multiple demands and commitments. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on-site. The Opportunity Support the management of projects and portfolios. Assist in preparing data to help projects deliver systemic change and measurable value. Contribute to the digital transformation and continuous improvement of the PTQ Project Management Office. Assist in the planning, mobilization, execution, and delivery of PMO initiatives. Support the adoption of new processes, systems, and digital enablers by participating in workshops, agile sprints, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Other priorities as assigned by the Head of the PTQ Project Management Office. Program Highlights Intensive 6 month, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship. Program start dates are in January 2027. A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship. Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects. Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry. Who You Are (Required) Required Education: You meet one of the following criteria: - Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student). - Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree (not currently enrolled in a graduate program). - Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student). - Must have attained a Master's Degree. Required Majors: Pursuing a degree in Life Science/ Business/ Computer Science/ Engineering/ Mathematics/ Liberal Arts / or related fields. Required Skills: Leadership – building and/or guiding a team, project or equivalent. Proficiency with collaboration / productivity tools. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications Ability to work with a global team, collaborate with scientists, engineers, business analysts and consultants from different cultures and locations. Proactive, inquisitive, and good communication skills. Ability to intake and synthesize information. Use quantitative and qualitative approaches to solve business problems. Exhibit a passion for high quality and strive for continuous improvement. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Agile fundamentals is a plus. Cross-cultural experience, a plus. Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $25.00-$52.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
