2027 Summer Intern, Accounting (Reston, VA)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented intern who will: Gain a broad overview of various finance and accounting functions by observing and assisting others complete day-to-day assignments and projects, as assigned. Assist the team in ensuring standing quarterly deliverables (in support of the various key and operational SOX controls) are completed in time of the scheduled SEC filing date. Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency through automation or best practices. Complete other projects and initiatives, as assigned. Our summer internship is full-time for 10-weeks beginning in early June and ending in early August. Work may be performed in a hybrid capacity from Reston, VA. At this time, we are unable to provide relocation nor housing assistance.    Basic Qualifications: By start date at least 30 credit hours in accounting, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or Business Administration. Professional Skills : Analytical, detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable adapting in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, work environment. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team settings, understanding responsibilities, and communicating progress. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
