Accounts Payable Specialist

Peak Utility Infrastructure is an integrated engineering and construction company that serves the Electric, Natural Gas, and Telecommunications industries.  We provide a full suite of engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance services, including repair, replacement, maintenance, and installation of natural gas, telecommunications, and electric infrastructure through our operating subsidiaries: SiteWise, Kelly Cable, Riley Brothers, 5 Star Electric, Superior Hydrovac and Superior Pipeline Services. Classification: Non-Exempt Pay Range: $24+/hour Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Roles and Responsibilities: Scan service cards and upload to SharePoint/internal systems to close out work order Data entry – time and work completed into 2 proprietary systems Track and update non active work orders/spreadsheet and bill when they become active Mail out closed work orders once per week Self-audit for data entry errors daily Communicate with supervisors to resolve discrepancies Success Factors: Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy under time constraints Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning company financial data Strong interpersonal skills and solid team working abilities Sound work ethics and flexibility Strong decision making and analytical thinking ability Complete knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with enterprise accounting software Experience and Education: Experience with enterprise accounting software An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year to year basis Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications: Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment. Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
